Director Biography - NormaJean Doucet

NormaJean is a 3D Artist. She is originally from Calgary, but has lived in Nanaimo and Mexico as well. She has recently returned to Canada to settle down in Vancouver.

After a successful career in Management, she returned to school to follow the heart of  her "younger self". She has hung up the calculator and picked up her pencil and brush again ...

yet times have changed ... it is now called a stylus ...
and a computer is her canvas!

After a long abyss from the "creative her" she was prodded by a longtime friend to start drawing again. Then fate ... and her lovely pushy daughter, enrolled her in a workshop that awakened the creative flair that had been dormant. She never would have dreamed that she would go back to school and be able to bring her characters to life.

She just finished an intensive course with SchoolCreative. Through tears and triumphs ... "this old dog has learned some new tricks". After completing an intensive 3D Generalist program, she has come to realise that although she enjoys most aspects of 3D, she has a special affinity for Modelling, Texturing and Animation.

The appreciation for the time and effort that goes into making and producing your own 3D creations is amazing. NormaJean invites you to follow her progress and journey that she never thought would be possible.

NormaJean thanks all that have helped in her success along the way.
