n 2015 John started volunteering at a nonprofit dedicated to helping at risk teens in the toughest schools in the city, The COOL Cooperative. The kids immediately took to his hands on approach to life and filmmaking, and he soon become the workhorse behind the kids' films. He got his dream job when he was offered the post of Executive Director of The COOL Cooperative - now he makes films nonstop with the teens in his program!
