KungFu Dream

“The Stories of Nam Kue” is a series of short documentary videos produced by Principal Catherine Tan and directed by Lilibelle Liang. Documentary making is an unique side of the Nam Kue School’s culture. Each short documentary tells a story of an event happening at Nam Kue, and this is our way of sharing the little moments from the people in our school to the viewers.

In this year’s Nam Kue Summer Program, a boy name Richard has a dream of learning real Chinese Kung Fu, to protect the people who he cares about. Through the Summer School Program, he met KungFu Master Guan, Bo from China. Master Guan guided Richard in his journey so he can someday become just as good as him when it comes to KungFu. Through out the whole learning process, Richard did not only learn what he initially wanted to learn- KungFu but also fell deeply in love with the Chinese Culture. And Nam Kue became the first step he took into achieving his dream.
