Avery Watson Is a short film director who is a junior at Hagerty High School in Oviedo, Florida. Inspired after watching an online film, Avery realized she could make films for others to enjoy and interpret in their own way.
Avery's credits include Cinematographer and Director of Photography on Pickles (2016), which won multiple awards including best student film at both the 2017 Bonita International Fim Festival and 2016 South Florida Student Film Festival. She was the Cinematographer on Colors of Innocence (2017), which recently won Best of the Fest at the Boynton Beach Film Festival. She also, directed, filmed, and edited Milo (2017), a 24-hour film challenge short that was accepted into Miami Independent Film Festival's monthly selections. Avery is currently working on her next project, Under the Surface, which should begin filming later in 2017.
