Taylor Van Arsdale has spent her professional life telling stories. Whether these stories are fact or fiction, her writing creates a clear and engaging commentary on pop culture. Her career began as the "Original Check-In Gal" at the famed Guitar Center Hollywood. She later worked in film and television development at HBO and then as a story and script consultant for NBC Universal. As a screenwriter her commissioned adaptations include the New York Times Bestseller A Conspiracy of Paper by David Liss. She recently finished “The Rift,” an original, one-hour Sci-Fi drama, and her feature length script “Skeeter” adapted from her eponymous manuscript. “Cocaine To Bain: Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll and the Inside Story of the Hollywood Guitar Center” is her debut, creative-narrative novel. Second only to her love of music, she has a passion for all things sci-fi, and yes, she believes Han shot first. A Long Island native, Taylor now resides in Santa Monica, California with her cats Lady Miss Punks and the wily rescue, Mr. Snugs.
