Director Biography - Wanda Reinholdt

Wanda has been directing stories on film, stage and canvas since 1998. Her passion is telling great stories that inspire a change. She believes that if a story speaks to her, that it will speak to others. Information on her company as well as a portfolio of her work can be found at www.reinholdtproductions.ca. You can also find her work at www.vimeo.com/wandareinholdt. Wanda most recently served as the Director for the TELUS supported short film “Are You Listening? A Pathway to Empathy”. She also served on the Directing team for the feature “The Great Fear”. In addition, Wanda has directed numerous shorts including a film for Calgary’s #1 food truck, Perogy Boyz, the film “Belong…Create…Connect” as featured on www.hopebridges.ca as well as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fASdbA_Hwho. These shorts and others have been filmed in partnership with Calgary and area companies, individuals and organizations. She has also been involved in Alberta award-winning productions including "Corporate Ladder" directed by Mike Peterson, has acted in films and web series including “The Off Screen Series” and has taken Film Directing and Acting Apprenticeships with Neil Schell. Her directing garnered her a “Best Director” award in 2009. She is a member in good standing of AMPIA and CSIF.
