Ralph Molina is an independent director, screenwriter and producer based out of San Juan, PR. His interest in filmmaking began at a young age, when he started to record himself and his friends skateboarding. He has a Bachelors in Digital Production for the Cinema from Universidad de Sagrado Corazon (University of the Sacred Heart).
He has independently produced music videos, event videos, documentaries, and short films. In 2013 he released, We Bomb Puerto Rico (2013), an independently published graffiti video focusing on the Puerto Rican graffiti and street art scene. Ralph is currently at work writing both short and feature length screenplays, and founding his own production company.
I'm excited to finally present my first short film "Call Me Bella", to festival audiences. I want to create films that pull the audience into the character's lives, while confronting the realities of our contemporary society. I'm humbled by the positive reaction and appraisals given to the work so far. We worked under a very tight schedule, and the lowest of budgets to make this film a reality.
