Jacqueline has a UK science degree, a teaching PGCE, and a keen interest in areas typically considered 'geeky'. Her girl mag of choice is New Scientist and she follows SETI (search for extraterrestrial intelligence) and the work of the James Webb telescope closely. She is an online gamer and her avatar "Sookuri" enjoys a level of fame in certain gaming worlds. Capitalizing on her understanding of the gamer psyche, Jacqueline often writes to appeal to the global gaming audience. She transcended her favorite genre to win awards at film festival writing competitions for projects in other genres.
As an online gamer, I often write with the estimated 3 billion (Statista.com) gaming audience in mind. Contrary to popular stereotypes the vast majority are adults, half are women and all tend to enjoy intelligent, original, humourous stories which appeal to their secret hero/heroine fantasies. I am not a single-genre writer and have also won international film festival awards in other genres.
