Director Statement

The Man From The Diner was shot over the period of 3 days during the Canadian winter on 16mm film. It was a challenging shoot to say the least and it turned into a beautiful little film that I'm very proud of. I wanted to tell a story about the inability to forgive oneself. A character who goes through life day by day stuck in his routine, trying to right his wrongs. The film stars my best friend, Mark Krysko and my cat - Mad Max. It features an incredible soundtrack and was inspired by films from the 70's and 80's that I love very much - ones I watched with my father growing up. I really hope you enjoy it! Thank you for watching!
