Director Statement

I was first introduced to H.P. Lovecraft in my teens with the Stuart Gordon films Re-animator (1985) & From Beyond (1986). I never imagined I would ever make an adaptation myself, but 30 years later I began work on my first venture into the Lovecraftian universe as part of a Master's Degree. It was an ambitious project with a very small budget, but thanks to great locations & a hard working team, we managed to achieve something close to my vision for the story.
On Friday 13th July 2018, I personally finished working on the original editors work to create the definitive director's cut.
