Tulip mania

My mom came back after a bus trip to Holland and spoke lyrically about the vast tulip fields down there. I´m constantly on the lookout for new things to shoot from the air, and consulted google to se what it looked like from the air. As I couldn´t find any drone images at all, I decided to be among the first to shoot these vast fields of color from an UAV. So a tulip loving friend of mine spent several weeks scanning Holland on Google earth the following spring to find interesting patterns and areas, and then hit the road on a chilly spring day in 2015. 1000 km later, we arrived in northern Holland, and then spent a couple of days criss crossing the small country in pursuit of color. And we were not disappointed!
