Experiencing Interruptions?

Building Bradshaws

Sallie Bradshaw lives and breathes construction — commercial or residential, it doesn’t matter. For nearly 50 years, this wife, mom and grandmother of 11 has been involved in building homes, hospitals, commercial developments—even whole communities. And when she takes on a new project, no matter how big or small, she gets in the middle of every phase of the construction effort. But Sallie’s also about her family and the adventures they can find when not working (like a friendly bowling competition among her sons, or a bare-handed fly-swatting festival at the family barbecue!).
Whether digging a basement, pouring a foundation, framing a wall, picking out tile and carpet, or planning a family trip to the mountains, Sallie is in the middle of everything—especially when she’s on a job site, where she expects perfection from her crews. And don’t be fooled by the pink hard hat and pretty tool belt; managing a family of builders and often being the sole “female voice of reason” in a world dominated by men, Sallie demands perfection from everyone involved —especially her often misbehaved adult sons who run her job sites! Just don’t ask her husband, Drew, to help - chances are he’s the one who’s out shopping for a new suit or getting a manicure!
This weekly YouTube hit, now with almost 50,000 views, follows the life of an inspiring woman, who as Sallie Bradshaw proves that the way she attacks every construction project, makes the hard things in life “So Easy, Even a Man Can Do It!”

Director Biography - Drew Williams, George David

Former US. Navy photojournalist and filmmaker Drew Williams’ work ethic is rooted in the belief that good entertainment is essential to developing and sustaining cultural legacies. No stranger to the film format, Drew was born in Southern California and started his life out as a house-guest to one of the biggest names of the Hollywood scene at the time: The Rat pack's own Dean Martin.

Having participated in behind-the-scenes support roles on such award-winning films as American Graffiti and The Right Stuff, and later, as a Camera Operator on the highly successful "Touched By an Angel," Drew has shot documentaries, training films and short films on four continents and in more than two dozen countries.

Also a noted writer, Drew has published volumes of articles and books, including one of the best-selling "Complete Idiot's Guides."

After many months of prompting by his wife, Drew, also an internationally recognized expert in cyber security, left his six-figure career of jet-setting too exotic lands to defend global infrastructures from hackers and cyber-terrorists, to direct and produce his wife, Sallie Bradshaw's weekly show, "Building Bradshaws." Now, closing in on its 50th episode, Building Bradshaws has morealmost 50,000 views and is seen throughout the US, Asia and Europe.

Working on Building Bradshaws is a labor of love (it has to be, because there's definitely no money in it!). But I do it for a lot of reasons, not the least of which because Sallie has an incredible story of talent, dignity, intelligence, ethics and above all, empowerment!

And also, quite simply, because she asked me to.
