The modern world has gone thru a catastrophic change that has forced the populace to adapt to a new world society . Amidst this post apocalyptic world, live Elena, the experimental inventor (*Caterina Jadresic) & Daniel (*Douglas Santiago) the storytelling street writer - companions coping with a recent traumatic interruption.They go about their day to day trading materials, listening to news broadcast via shortwave radios, waiting to hear about any announcements of DAYBREAK. The atmosphere is covered in a thin layer of ash that has blocked out sunlight for decades. Others wait on ration lines, stare off in the distance, or typically go mad from the toxic hunger and lack of resources. Hope is bleak and to escape this mundane existence, some partake in the ingestion of fabricated chemicals created by local self proclaimed Physicians and Pharmacists.
