Whats left

What's left from a person once that person is gone? Fred has been living between urinal and plastic flowers for the last 20 years, 7 days a week. Daylight is not his thing anyways. When Sophie distraughtly comes rushing into his public bathroom one night, about to hurt herself, Fred tries to make her stop. Sophie and Fred have something in common: both have been left. Left alone. Fred still does not know what to think about his dead wife and Sophie was hurt recently. In between cabins, Fred tries to explain to this young girl what he had learned about society during the past years. He makes Sophie smile for a moment. Fred opens up about himself and his wife. For an instant, they are not left alone with their pain, but only until she leaves the bathroom again and he continues to evolve his own philosphy again.
