Blindness and lowvision
The Dorina Nowill Foundation is a philanthropic institution founded 1946 in São Paulo, Brazil.
It is the most important in Latin America in terms of social inclusion of the blind and short-sighted, as well as for their families.
The documentary follows the work of eye doctors, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, psychologists and educators.
It delves into organisational issues and strategic planning; it analyses the production and the revision of Braille texts, audiobooks and digital books, which are distributed in over 2,500 schools, libraries and cultural associations all over Brazil.
