EYES
EYES is a short film/documentary that borders on the addictive use of the internet to consume content, rather than to create.
The film, directed especially to content providers, explains how everyone is always on their phones consuming so much content and admiring other people’s work. While this is good, it also emphasizes that these activities can allow for undue comparison and can leave people with barely any time to create content of their own.
The video then admonishes its viewers to use instead, the diverse resources the internet has made available for something productive. The goal is to nudge people to invest more time doing the things that they are supposed to be doing – exploring the world, looking out for inspiration to be more creative and creating their own content – so that they too can have something impactful to put out there on the internet and share with the world.
