Roots

I started making short films in my hometown (Ravenna, Italy) to express my evergreen passion about cinema. I explored other video forms (documentaries, film concerts and spots) made on commission before moving to London, England for my studies. Adapting to the life in a new country can be challenging for many reasons (different culture, language, bureaucratic system, financial pressure, etc...). However, the multicultural background of London and its rich artistic network gave me a renewed creative flair and critical perspective when I look back on my work.
