DeWayne is a 24 year Air Force retiree who served as a Medical/Dental Technician, Dental Lab Manager, and Hospital Training Manager. Inside his military career he produced 3 albums with and for various artists. Traveled to perform in Alaska, Colorado, North Dakota and London, England. Retirement allowed him to move to his home state of Texas in the City of Austin, where he works as a Certified Peer Specialist for Veterans. In 2014 he open his 1st business LusterHairLounge, The rapid success with this business helped spawn his talent management and development company LusterTalent512. DeWayne is currently working with the VeteransSuicidePreventionChannel to develop The Austin Veterans Arts Festival, his 1st feature length film, and developing and promoting Miss Black Talented Teen 2013 NC and Talented Teen USA 2015 Jocelien Danee Whitehead. His latest ventures include reinstituting his record label and developing his sock company (SockLust) catering to military, veterans and hospital personnel.
For 2 months during the summer of 2016, Domonique (DOMO), Jeff Zavala and I storyboarded, planned and organized 45 individuals to create "The Portfolio Project". The premise was her vision of a web series "Domo and The City". The sheer professionalism, preparation, and talents of all participants allowed us to complete the shoot in 6 hours. I'm so very proud of what these individuals were able to accomplish with such amazing grace, attitude and love. Special thanks to Lisa Garcia Deleon and her family for opening their venue to us. Enjoy.
