Director Statement

Live and feel the effects of horizontal conflicts on the ground of birth and place of growth and together with victims and perpetrators.
They are my neighbors, my friends, and even my own family. without conscious, making all the stories that happened at that time began to summarized in my head.

Then slowly began to pour in the form of ideas to write and make it into a movie.
That's exactly 9 years ago, but at that time I have not been able to. This script is always unresolved. I admit it is very depleting emotions that squeeze feelings.
Because the story of this film is very representative of all that is around and the environment where I live. Many times my heart can not.
The movie script abandoned with a single paragraph for years.

Film A Long Day begins

Finally at one point I was able to spend the entire script of this film. I found the flow, the symbols, and the dialogue to reflect everything into a movie and get around with the budget
I have this.
Thanks to the support of my family and my great friends until the whole process is over, and in early November 2016 the A Long Day begins to be produced.

In the movie A Long Day I raised the story of one of the survivors (witnesses) told the story when the conflict occurred. On that day I brought it together with a friend who and equally save themselves in the jungle.
Both of which each have a different background from the conflicting community.

I make this movie for everyone. I want to convey to everyone that conflict, disputes, or war (wherever it is) always sacrifice innocent people.
At that moment anger is the commander of the upheld and the elegant.

Hopefully the audience can feel the emotions and the situation and even enter into the victim self then touch the realm of consciousness as the essence of human beings to love each other, So we can start doing different things based on it
