Hi, I am KumarShivam. For first quarter of my life, I did what I was expected to. You would understand that if you are the eldest son/daughter. It comes naturally to the eldest ones – To be an ideal. I did everything that put a smile on my mother’s face and filled my father with pride. With good grades through my schooling and graduation, I entered the most defining phase of my life. I joined EMPI Business School where I was an MBA student. I was studying for advertising without any hint of where my passion lied.

In that very campus, I was introduced to the art of cinema and theater. Writing and directing, these two departments specially became my area of interest. Books apna kaam kar rahe the aur cinema apna. When I left the campus, I graduated in both. I left that college with an MBA degree and a undying passion for cinema.

I have conveniently joined one of the best advertising agencies in Delhi and continued making short films. For 7 years, I was an agencywaasi. Between non-existent weekends and long working hours, cinema still found life through my pen and cameras. In few years, I realized, cinema is the only brand I want to work for.
So far, I have directed and produced many short films with official selections. The mention able recognition's are as follows: Kavita, Safar, Another Side, In search of. These are special because these are rewards born from something I love, something I am completely crazy about.
