Director Statement

The immediacy and intimacy offered by smartphone technology continues to drive my exploration of how we relate to one another. The democratization of media and the shift in diaristic practices from private to public, along with the proliferation of explicit content and the explosive use of social apps, allow more rapid accessibility for our stories. What does this mean for us? A camera when placed recording in a car turns it into a mobile confessional booth, recording its occupants, at times, when they are at their most vulnerable. Our follies and vices are documented, exposing questionable “truths” and creating potential ironies.
