Maewan - Extreme skiing and mountaineering in Greenland
The Maewan project is a four-year, multi-stage, voyage around the world. It's a floating base camp for mountain climbing, free-skiing, and technical climbing projects. Erwan Le Lann, Skipper of the Maewan, is the father of this wild, multi-disciplinary adventure to explore the seven seas. Together with his team and his boat The Maewan they are circumnavigating the globe in search of untouched lines. This movie tells the story of the first part of their adventure, between Iceland and Greenland, with a crew composed of an expert sailor, a freeride skier, a mountaineer, and a cameraman. They navigate along Greenland’s coast: scouting for opportunities to ski, climb, or simply to explore.
