SYNOPSIS

'BIJURI' is a non-feature film which talk about the evil mentality of some people who does not want the 'girl-child' to be born in their family as they feel that the girls are just burden on the family. The film showcases a character called 'bansi', who is about 60 yr old and one day he saw a news on television in which the son of the family had murdered his parents. This havoc incident creates a huge impact on bansi's mind and forced him to get into the flashback where once he indulged himself into a wrong-doing after he wished a boy-child to take birth. The story unfolds the actions and the mindset of 'bansi' after things get totally opposite, against his wish.

Director Statement

SANDEEP KUSHWAHA is the director of the non-feature film 'BIJURI'.
He is an young 26 yr old film enthusiast, had completed his studies in 'Film-making' from a college called 'S.V. POLYTECHNIC' in Bhopal. Previously, he had provided his services to a private television channel. Currently he works as a 'director' on various short term and long term projects related to Films and Documentaries in Bhopal. His aim is to direct a full-length feature film in the future.
