Huzuni

Huzuni is a short film addressing the issue of cyberbully in the global space. A film about how a girl was bullied twice just because she made one mistake at a party she attended. She fought through the first time with the help of her therapist but couldn't take it the second time. She meets a boy on the same online media who finally believes in her, telling her that good thing comes from social media also, she entrusts him with her secret and also felt loved by the boy. This trust didn't last for too long as a villian in the story exposes this secret to the world.

Director Biography - Ataansuyi Michael

Ataansuyi Michael is a student of the department of mass Communication, University of Lagos, Akoka. He started his film career in the early hours of his hundred level in school and has learnt and grew through the years. He enjoys telling his story in a way he knows best, through the camera lenses.

Huzuni is a film made alongside the Ataansuyi Brothers. It's an experience actually. Looking at the story spoken about here, it's something that's becoming rampant in our society and if not curbed in it's early hours, might escalate into something uncontrollable.
