Director Statement

After my separation I was thinking about how to manifest the right mate for myself and remembering how I manifested the father of my children. Then I thought with the "Law of Attraction" being more mainstream now that it would make for a good movie. This project is important because it's about making your dreams come true. But why now? When I first moved to Hollywood in the late 80’s my representation wanted me to change my name from Morales to Moore so I could play Caucasian roles but they still couldn’t submit me for the leading roles because I still looked too Latina. I feel like Hollywood is now finally ready to hear Latino stories. It was a difficult choice to cast myself in the lead role but I felt my vulnerability around the issues would make it relatable and laughable. I love movies that make you feel better than you did when you came into the theater. We are having a blast shooting this film and created a strong family like bond.I hope audiences will laugh, be inspired to go after their own dreams and learn to appreciate what’s been with them all along!
