So Black So Green
A BLIND YOUNG MAN goes to a park everyday and pretends not to be blind and reads books. He seems overconfident and does not need anybody. One day, when he walks towards his bench, he crashes into an engineer’s tool and drops his book. The engineer’s reason for being there is reconstructed. So he sits on another bench and this makes him uncomfortable. He opens his book and keeps going as always by the time he hears THE WOMAN’s voice saying that he holds the book upside-down. Facts that he has been hiding from everyone show up but he does not complain about it. This becomes the beginning of their friendship that will be lasting very long. One day, he comes to ask her whether she wants to make a world tour with him or not and therefore he aims at finding out more about her. Although she makes an excuse of not being able to walk, he is not satisfied and goes away, leaving his book behind. In a couple of weeks,he begins to realize how important she is, in the absence of her. He makes a last desperate attempt to find and talk to her again. When he comes to park, he cannot find his bench. He notices something under his feet, which is his book forgotten there. He keeps going to search around. But he is not aware not only somebody has been watching him all the time but also a surprise is waiting of him.

I was born in Paris in 1994. In France, I studied Performance Arts: Cinema and Theatre in Paris Ouest Nanterre University. In my senior year, I attended to Galatasaray University with Exchange programme and I joined in Galatasaray University Theatre Company to which I have been still involved. I was an assistant director in the play ‘’Kuartet’’ which was directed by Ziya Demirel in Öteki Hayatlar Theatre Company. By participating in a short film workshop that was led by Gökhan Yorgancıgil at Meridyen Association, I had co-directed ‘’So Black So Green’’ – a movie that we produced as a team.
