Writer Biography - Courtney C Suttle

Suttle has won the following honors for his script Fire on Ice; The River Scroll Award for Best Screenplay - 2016 Silent River Film Festival, Award of Merit - 2016 Los Angeles Cinema Festival of Hollywood, Award of Excellence for Screenwriting - 2015 NYLA International Film Festival, 2nd Runner Up Best Script - 2015 Beverly Hills Film Festival, Top Finalist - 2017 Hollywood Hills Screenplay Competition, Finalist - 2017 Napa Valley Film Festival, 2016 Nashville Film Festival, 2016 Vail Film Festival, 2015 West Field Screenwriting awards. Suttle's short film script, A Jungle Dark, won Best Script 2017 California International Shorts Festival (Winter), 1st Prize Genre Screenplay Thriller/Crime in the 2017 Hollywood Hills Screenplay Competition. Suttle's television pilot, Lottery, was selected as a Finalist for the 2016 Sundance Institute/ YouTube New Voices Lab and LiveRead/LA. Suttle's novel/screenplay, Mimic, won the Mentorship Program Award at the 2017 Launchpad Manuscript Competition. Suttle's short film script, I Love You More, won an Award of Merit at the 2017 Los Angeles Cinema Festival Of Hollywood (Fall) and was named a Semi-Finalist in the 2014 Holly Shorts Screenplay Competition. In addition, Suttle produced the 2010 award-winning boxing documentary, Sweet Science.
