RHANGYHUL

“Rhangyhul” is a documentary about People of “Hyolmo" who lives in mountains in some Districts (Sindhupalchok, Nuwakot, Gorkha) Nepal. Nepal Earthquake (2015) mostly affected in these areas. All particular houses have vanished and most of the village was destroyed and migrate from the own homeland to other places. Here “Rhangyhul” means own land, the motherland. All people they want to stay only in “Rhangyhul” whatever situation or conditions will be. “Rhangyhul” represent their forefather culture, memories, and values important so they always missed their old house, village, and religious places.

Director Biography - Pasang dawa Sherpa

Pasang Dawa Sherpa born December 21st, 1989 AD, Sindhupalchok Nepal. He graduated the film study from Oscar International College, Nepal in 2013 AD. His graduate film ‘Kyar Kyar Pankha’ has been selected in the ‘Changing Perspective’ section of “Ekadeshma” Film Festival 2014 and won audience choice award. Sherpa worked as an assistant director in some feature films and short films during his college days.
