Director Statement

The Last Day initially began as a possible implication of how technology can affect the way lives that are no longer with us could be preserved. Instead, it is much more of a character and human study of how people grieve and are affected by the wake of their loved one’s absence. Its sensory experience and approach to loss is mere proof that the passed away are gone forever, in the light of our contrasting desires. The film is an insight into a not so foreign concept to many who are left alone and disguise their sorrow the world around them.
