Traces

An atypical path beginning with drawing at an early age, followed by photography, CGI, painting and various disciplines all visual and manual.

As a solitary and silent child, he invented universes that he materialized in his science-fiction and fantasy-style drawings, where each drawing shows a context and a fraction of a story. More recent surrealist works expresses the torments of the human soul. The most recent drawings are more contemplative of the ordinary beauty surrounding us, as nature details, old architecure. He has written a few short stories in her youth.

Besides his job as a typographer, he trains different disciplines alongside the drawing: acrylic and oil paint; film an digital photography; film editing and color grading; computer graphics; photoshop, vector designs, InDesign layout; simple websites; writing; scenic lighting and video projection; sound creation; crafts on wood; design and construction of two front-wheel drive recumbent bikes.
Passionate about cinema since the age of 14 when he discovers «The Raiders of The lost ark», «The exorcist» and «Alien, the 8th passenger». Later he discovers Hanneke, Fincher, the other films of Friedkin, Kieslowski, Lars Von Trier, Michael Mann, Danny Boyle, Christopher Nolan and Denis Villeneuve.
By embarking on the path of cinema, he realizes that his skills covers the majority of those required in this trade, which motivates him to keep moving forward. He also finds that it’s a difficult job that demands to be at the best in all the domains.
Speaks french and english, have a passion for steadicam, practice running, in nature of course.
