Bryan Walters II

We pick up three years later with loner bar character Bryan Walters working at the tavern he once frequented. After a conversation with his concerned brother, and an invitation from a good friend out west, Bryan hits the road again on a soul searching quest. With endless possibilities in front of him, Bryan realizes that it's easy to leave when there's nothing to stay for.

Director Biography - Matt Brownley, Joe Ryan Stefan, Alec Thorsen

Matt Brownley is a 34 year old artist and Chicagoan with previous experience in stand up comedy, acting, and writing. He is a graduate of Augustana College in Rock Island, IL where he first started acting in the Improv comedy group Heywire. Bryan Walters II is Brownley's directing and producing debut. Brownley also plays the part of Bryan Walters in both this film and the original. He worked closely with his two friends and fellow filmmakers Alec Thorsen and Joe Ryan Stefan on the making and completion of Bryan Walters II. Thorsen is the director and producer of the original Bryan Walters short film. The trio plans to make a third installment in the series.

Director Statement

This film is meant to be funny while telling a story about a man who goes through life not like the typical person. The story is developing through a series of short films. The second installment shows Bryan in a transitional phase looking for the next step.
