MONTH BEFORE THE FALL
This movie revolves around the innocent pursuit of two kids who are in search to understand what ‘desire’ means at a time (last month of 1999) when there was a lot of fear about an imminent doomsday. This film explores a variety of topics such as ecological destruction, innocence, faith and sex in a language in which both reality and fantasy are perfectly intertwined.
The story unfolds from the perspective of two teenage boys who are on the verge of adolescence. They discover that it would be a great loss for them if the world ends before they get a feel of ‘desire’. In a village where the ultimate faith is the church, as people struggle to come to terms with the news of the doomsday, the two kids discover their own innocent versions of ‘desire’.
The Film ends conversing that the doomsday may not be a supernatural incident like that which is said in the Devine texts, but the fact is that when man's invasion on nature then started the doom of the world.
