Director Biography - Mary Angelica Molina, Lorena Russi

Queens native Lorena Russi (AKA “La Rata”) is a Queer-Latinx comedian and filmmaker based in Brooklyn. Her 8 year digital background -in both comedy and news- ranges from hosting Chipotle’s Snapchat channel to Head Writer for Spotify’s web series, “Game Plan,” to writing, filming, and editing for “The Late Show” Digital team.

Lorena’s bilingual Dad jokes have performed at BAM and been featured on Comedy Central, Refinery29, an Oscars commercial and TimeOut New York’s “LGBTQ POC Comedians We’re Obsessed With.”

Outside of comedy, Lorena is an ex-pro soccer player currently playing on Nike’s NYC team, where she daydreams about symmetrical knees.
