Christian Ferreira was born in Venezuela in 1996.
He's been living in Portugal since 1997, in the city of Aveiro,
where he starts by studying Languages and Humanities.
There he develops a particular taste for the history of cinema.
In 2014, he pursues a carreer in cinema and audiovisuals by entering the course of
Sound and Image at the university ESAD.CR-Escola Superior
de Artes e Design.
That's where he aquires knowledge and experience in directing, production
and editing for cinema, television and animation.
In 2016, Christian directs hist first school short-film Stabat Mater.
Later that year he started his very own independent mid-lenght fiction, Lena, in
collaboration with CETA- Aveiro's Experimental Drama Club.
In 2017 he starts working at Terratreme, a prestigious cinema producer based
in Lisbon, assuming the role of post-production coordinator.
There he had the chance to participate in several movies such as
High Cities of Bone by João Salaviza, The Nothing Factory by Pedro Pinho and
Vitória by Ico Costa.
His latest work is Exodus, a short fiction completed in mid-2017.
