A famous rock pop star at the height of her fame suffering an image crisis runs away to the "burbs" of Miami circa 1984 and gets a look at life from a different angle. She spends her time in the company of an upper-middle-class family posing as an out of work Au Pair. In the process, she learns the value of home and family and loving something more than herself
