Fred suffers from depression. He starts to feel well when he meets Julietta. But one day, after a dispute, Fred does the irreparable. Years later, Julietta returns to the scene of the drama that changed her life forever.

Director Biography - Veljko Vidak

Veljko Vidak is a croatian filmmaker and visual artist, graduated from the Academy of fine Arts of Zagreb and from Master
Program of International Film School in Paris.

When he arrived in Paris at La Cité des Arts, he decided to establish permanently in France. After years of hard work dedicated to painting, his exhibitions started to travel from New-York to Shanghai. With big figuratives canvas, Veljko Vidak tells the story of war in Croatia, fallen ideology and uprooting.

In 2010, he moved to Berlin, so as to collaborate with collective of artists, and confronted his work to other medium.
From the Berliner experience, he returned with video works dealing with subconsciousness and history.

In 2012, he entered a master in direction in Paris and started to shoot his first short movies. His movies deal with the thematics of identity, memories and being a stranger.

Since 2014, Veljko Vidak has also worked as an artistic director of the Subversive film festival in Zagreb.

«I travel across Europe with my camera trying to capture the invisible ties that bind us one to another. Through fiction, I am attempting to bring out the traces of our fears, our dreams and our illusion.»
