Tyler Page,a member of a community group in Bolton called Dramatic Action. He came up with the idea of doing a project/short film on Addiction and this come about because he is a recovering addict himself and wanted to help others with their addiction. Tyler approached the University Of Bolton whom were more than happy to help with the project. Bolton University students worked with Tyler on the addiction film.
The film itself is short but it is a very powerful film which highlights the serious consequences that addiction has not on just one person but their entire friends, family and it affects their whole life. Tyler's idea was to change the way people think about addiction and to help others who maybe starting at the early stage of becoming addicts themselves.
The university students at Bolton worked very hard with Tyler, members of Dramatic Action who are in the film to also share their own personal and very touching stories of real life issues that they currently face in their lives. They helped produce and put the film together, edited it and now we have a complete 6 minute film which we believe will touch peoples hearts after watching it and hopefully change lives as well.....

I loved working on the film, its very powerful, no scripts were used and the people being filmed all live in Bolton and have shared their stories with the public and have been brave enough to hold no bars in sharing some very personal and private things to help others with their addiction. I want to thank Bolton University for working with us to help produce the film, i want to thank Tez, Maureen, Susan, Tracy, Audrey and Luke who were amazing and so brave to share their personal stories. I also want to thank Val Hulme for working and supporting Dramatic Action with the film. Thank you
