Saver Squad - Episode 1 'Pilot'

Join the Saver Squad and Save the World... one child and family at a time. Saver Squad is a series about money superheroes that not only help children and families save money but also save them from themselves and each other. Ben-Jammin is the main character, and yes he's made of dollars. Each episode he visits different families from various multi-cultural backgrounds to teach them anything from bonds, stocks, inflation, mortgages, etc. in a fun and fresh new way.

Saver Squad is based on the foundation that there should always be a balance between money and life. Each episode teaches a money lesson and a life lesson. www.SaverSquad.com

Director Biography - Jay V. Gee

I don't come from the film / cartoon world. This is my first rodeo in that space. Fortunately, I've surrounded myself with extremely talented people who have and do come from that world. Many folks on the team came from shows at Nick and other prominent networks. My background is in financial services, management consulting, sales & marketing, user experience design and was even a VIP Host at one of the largest nightclubs on the east coast. Regardless of what happens with Saver Squad, this has been a great experience and one I look forward to sharing with my children as they grow.

Director Statement

I've worked in startups, management consulting, finance and business development during my career. I was always surprised to meet folks without a basic financial education. Then I had children. I started watching what they watched. Dora (language), Super Why (reading), Dinosaur Train (dinosaurs obviously) and others. I grew up with Bill Nye teaching me about science. Point is I never came across a show teaching the basics of money in a fun way that both children and their families could enjoy. However, I also know that children aren't easy. So let's Trojan Horse their education disguised as something fun.

As understood in the startup world, if you have a problem and there isn't a solution you can find then create the solution, hence Saver Squad was born.
