Alexander Turpin (b. 1989) has directed several non-budget short films, which mainly explore politics and private life. He is a director student from The National Film School of Norway in Lillehammer. His first Norwegian short "Best Friends" won the best Nordic Youth award and his exam "Generation Mars" was nominee to the 43th Student Oscars Awards.
