The Strapless Brain
The Strapless Brain is a surreal satire of a world where reality is in the eye of the beholder. A lonely man, his talking rubber ducky and a DIY lobotomy come together to weave a cautionary tale about the dangers of outsourcing your own perspective.

Anthony is an emerging filmmaker based in LA, who's last film, SUBTUNES, won Best Music Video at Raindance Film Festival, in 2014.
He directs music videos and commercials internationally, and is continually exploring the nature of society through his narrative and abstract film work.
We live in a world of contrasts: globalism vs localism, innovative technology vs failing infrastructure, bellicoseness vs humaneness.
Caught in the middle are the people just trying to survive, and enjoy existence for what it's worth.
In the Strapless Brain, I wanted to explore what it means to live in an analogue world just at the cusp of becoming fully immersed by digital illusion.
Hints of the invasiveness of commercialism in the home help push forward the idea that fellow humans are largely responsible for the well-being of each other, and our intentions can lead others down dangerous roads.
Technology is a beautiful enhancement of life, if its creator's intentions are pure.
