Life through windows
Characters in this documentary observe life in its variety by virtue of the peculiar locations they live in. Each character has a different view outside their window. Some of them live opposite a maternity hospital and every day they get to see balloons of different colours flying up in the sky – blue or pink (depending on whether a boy or a girl was born). Others wake up every weekend to the sounds of cheering, people shouting «Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!» and the clapping sounds of champagne bottles being opened – their house is located opposite marriage registry office. Nevertheless, for those characters, who live opposite a graveyard, the scenery is a lot less positive.
A blond girl, student, dreaming of getting married as well as hundreds of other girls do before her eyes. A wise woman, whose daughter and grandchildren were born in the maternity hospital opposite her house. A man who barely escaped death, living opposite the graveyard, but still keeping up his optimism and a sense of humour. Gravediggers, who are also featured in the film, have their own personal view on life and death.
All characters in this film share their thoughts about the main milestones of human path, about joy and sorrow, of which our life consists, after all.
