Director Biography - Daniel Chan

A grade 12 student at the International School of Beijing, Daniel is a highly motivated and uprising youngster with keen desire to be a change maker with clear focused interest on filming. He has just won the Second Best Film Award and Best Cinematography Award at the Shanghai Student Film Festival 2017. Daniel has recently established his own film studio - DanielChanFilms to gain commercial experiences on a part time basis. Daniel is also keen to help and serve the under-privileged and people in need with commitment to promote a harmonious global environment to impact for positive changes. Daniel has established his own charity joint venture project, We The People with the objective to help and provide more education opportunities for children and youngsters in the developing countries with the first project in Sierra Leone. He is currently serving as a member of the Alumni Advisory Board for the Rustic Pathways Foundation.
