The Viral Fearfest was a collaboration from the minds of James Coleman, Vince Coleman and Michael Del Rossa beginning in the summer of 2015. The team set out to write, direct and produce short horror films much in the style of the films that find a way to chill you to the core. Multivision Fx founder Michael Del Rossa, originally from Rochester, NY was fascinated
by the effects in horror films at an early age and began creating his own in his early teens.
After he moved to Los Angeles in 1995, Michael started his own company Multivision Fx,
through which he has contributed to numerous productions such as “Spawn,” “Gods and
Monsters,” “Bicentennial Man,” “The Fallen Ones,” and “Afterimage” for which he produced
and directed the documentary “Portrait of Death” (The Art of Special Effects Makeup) and
several more since. His credits also include such high profile films as: “The Passion of the
Christ,”“The Watchmen,” “300,” “I am Legend,” “Pirates of the Caribbean,” and many, more.
Recently he brought his innovative and ground breaking ideas to the TV series “The Deadliest
Warriors” in which he brought a whole new level to” Ballistics Science Testing Models” a high
bred mix of prosthetic makeup techniques, Ballistics technology, and anatomy to create effects
ballistics torsos that propelled the viewing of the series. Constantly searching for innovative and
creative ideas, Michael is currently directing as well, “I will always do makeup effects"
and looks forward to the future challenges and working with creative
productions.
