Award-winning Peter Kulsziski has done it all when it comes to TV and the Web. With over 25 years of experience, he has freelanced on many shows, including NBC Nightly News, HG-TV, DIY, Discovery Channel, History Channel, ESPN, CNN, Today Show, MSNBC, as well as worked for local news stations in Colorado and Maryland. Peter covered some of the greatest golfers on the PGA Tour, the Dalai Lama, and dozens of Hollywood stars and performers. Also, Kulsziski has been a part of breaking news like the September 11th Pentagon tragedy, live team coverage for historical events including six presidential inaugurations, and entertainment shows like Donald Trump’s Miss USA Pageant.
Peter Kulsziski began his television journey working at the local PBS station on his college campus. He then moved on to the town’s local TV station, working as an intern and camera operator, later being promoted to photojournalist and editor. He continued advancing his career by moving from Colorado to Baltimore where he worked for two local news stations. During that time, he won two Emmys and produced the Hometown Portrait franchise. From that point, Kulsziski took on an even bigger challenge by starting up his video production company. Sand Dollar Productions has been telling clients’ stories for over 17 years and recently finished work on a documentary that won him both a 2016 Bronze Telly and 2016 Best Documentary at the South Carolina Cultural Film Festival.
Throughout his career, Kulsziski’s motto of, “Taking the viewer places where they have never been before and inspiring them to do or feel something,” has been the foundation for all of his work with both broadcast and corporate clients. Not only does he assist clients in achieving their video goals, but Kulsziski also enjoys pursuing his passion for teaching and consulting by sharing his expertise in all aspects of storytelling. For years, he has been teaching these video techniques to newspaper photographers and journalists in the eastern United States.
Kulsziski currently resides near Mt. Airy, NC which was made famous as Mayberry in The Andy Griffith Show. In his personal time, Kulsziski enjoys looking for new stories to tell and learning about cutting-edge technology in video production.
Involving the viewer by taking them places they have never been before. Storytelling is everything.
