The Brides Ball

What do you do when the dress, cake, venue, guests and the bride is ready but the groom is not?
Jilted a few days before her wedding, Deena, decides to make the most of an unfortunate situation, when she realizes that none of the vendors are willing to offer refund.
The quick-thinking socialite, converts her wedding reception to a reception for all single women who want to experience the thrill of a wedding day without having the commitment of a husband.
Brides Ball is a light hearted modern day musical, set in Edinburgh, inspired by a true story.

Director Statement

I am a big fan of musicals and the true story of a jilted bride in Glasgow who put an open call for women who wanted to experience a wedding day without committing to a husband, inspired this film. It is a commentary on the pressures we often place on ourselves to fit our lives into a list of things to do despite all the visible signs telling us the opposite.
