David Kamens
Director
David Kamens is a multimedia producer, director, and writer with 12 years at GOLF Channel from its inception as Sr. Producer (1997 Ace Award) and Sr. Executive Producer at NBC Sports’ Regional Network in the Pacific Northwest (Three-time Emmy Award winner.) Currently, under his StoryBoyCreative banner, David is creating and penning several comedy series and competition-based shows.
His interest in inspirational film projects has spawned two projects thus far as “The Big Lonely” (Producer, Post Production Supervisor) premiered in LA (2015 Dances with Films Festival) and has been accepted into three other film festivals including Heartland. “Scraps” is his first directing and on-camera cinema effort.
Born in Washington, D.C., David spent most of his childhood outside of Reading, PA and attended Temple University (B.A. Communications). He currently spends most of his days collaborating in Portland, Oregon on his projects and various charitable endeavors.
