BLUES DEL BAR 50
The main character is a young guy disappointed by a recent break-up. One of his friends manages to convince him to go out for a drink. At the bar, the atmosphere, the music and the presence of a young couple at the next table trigger a magnetic event: the protagonist, lost in a reverie, imagines himself being in love and acting tenderly with the girl alongside him, who is an idealised "her". But suddenly the spell is broken and, on the last notes of the blues, the guy goes out the bar and walks into the night. The 70's setting and the original music (whose lyrics were translated from an original poem) contribute to lean towards a "poetry cinema".

Giuseppe De Marco
(Salerno 1957), has been active in the Italian artistic scene since 1980, beginning as graphic artist and painter. Adventurous in experimenting with new materials and techniques, he has then moved on to produce a digital art that creatively combines the material and the digital, the real and the virtual.
In 1985 his founding of Mediavox, a multimedia lab of artistic experimentation that applies new media to artistic production, allowed Giuseppe to extend his presence to the rest of Europe and North America.
Fundamental to Giuseppe’s work is the artist’s belief in art as a means of political intervention and change in society. This is the spirit that drives all numerous artistic events in which he has featured, as painter, designer, performer and videomaker.
