Another Exodus

A fishing village wakes up in the murmur of predawn prayers, and has its daily life lapped by turbulent breakers. Living in that buzzing environment, villagers from old fisherman to younger generations are still quietly recalling the good old days while waiting for what’s coming up next.

Every 50 or 60 years, there must be an Exodus. Now they have to run away from a fierce force of nature: the climate change. Prosperous neighborhoods have turned to poor fishing villages, fertile fields and fruitful orchards have been swept by seawater intrusion. And coastal erosion has forced churches and villages to migrate year after year.
