The Cleaner and the Deadman

Two contract killers are hired by competing cartels to hunt down an elusive drug scientist in London. After failing to intercept the scientist as he is smuggled across the Pacific, the two hit men find themselves on the run and fighting for their own survival, in what can be described as "one of the most insane action-packed finales in independent cinema history".

Director Biography - Jess Bryden

Jesse R. Bryden – Writer/Director/VFX Supervisor

Jesse got his start early in film, writing and directing
his first short film at the age of twelve. He worked at a postproduction facility throughout high school and college, cutting both film and video, mastering Avid Editing Systems and Visual Effects early on.
In 2000 he was hired to teach Avid Editing, Film Editing and Visual Effects at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida. He continued to work freelance as an editor and visual effects
artist in Southern Florida for the next three years while he taught at FSU. In June of 2003 Jesse moved to Los Angeles to continue his career in film and television. Within a matter of months he had already become heavily involved in visual effects and editing for Television.
Jesse Bryden’s credits include work on Spiderman 2, Alias, CSI, Monk, Jag and 24, as well as a variety of shows and promos for MTV/VH1. In 2004 he worked as visual effects supervisor on The Return of the Living Dead 4 and 5. On those two films he both oversaw and worked on over one hundred visual effects, the opening titles and their theatrical trailers. In 2004 he was hired to write and direct a series of sports promos and training specials for HOPSports.
In 2005 Jesse continued to his work with HOPSports as well as working on visual effects for John Carpenter’s The Fog. Between 2005 and 2008 he directed or supervised over one hundred training videos, commercials, PSAs, animations, documentaries, edu-content & promos for HOPSports and their clients (NFL, NBA, PGA, MLBA, Nike, Etc.). In 2008 he edited the film “His Good Will”, which was featured at Cannes film festival.
Starting in 2008 Jess Bryden moved his focus to writing and directing, beginning with a web series called “The Real Deal” as well as several short films, music videos and spec movie trailers. Over the next several years, his free time, when not employed professionally, was spent in development of a multitude of feature films, feature length scripts and a book series.
Jess Bryden has now been working in the film industry, specializing in VFX, for over 15 years. Since expanding his operational base to Hawaii, 5 years ago, he has been writing/directing/ supervising non-stop and his body of work continues to flourish.
