Director Biography - Daniel Limmer

Daniel Limmer was born in Hallein, Austria. In his teenage years he discovered his passion for filmmaking producing fan fiction shorts with his friends and already attracted attention winning prizes at the local youth film festival “Klappe”.
In 2011 he worked as production assistant for the feature film “OMAMAIA” and the famous German crime investigation series “TATORT”. During his studies at the University of Applied Sciences filmmaking department he was able to deepen his knowledge and also produced numerous shorts. The awarding of the #15SecondScare contest by Eli Roth and Crypt TV marks the peak of his film career.

“EMMA” is an extraordinary short film shot in an extraordinary style. Set in the deepest heart of the Austrian mountains the story revolves around American documentary filmmaker Anna revealing a dark, occult mystery.
